CONNECTICUT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL “PJ DAY”

Each year, Connecticut Children’s holds a PJ Day where students, staff, and families may donate any amount to contribute towards the fight against cancer and wear their pajamas to school. PJ Day this year is set for December 10, 2021. Our whole district is once again taking part in this meaningful CCMC PJ Day  fundraiser. This fundraiser helps children who are fighting cancer. Donations can be sent into WJ homeroom teachers. The Student Council thanks you for your donation and is leading this year's efforts. Let's make this year the biggest donation year ever!

A NOTE TO THE OFFICE

Our Note to the Office form is convenient! Print it, send one of them in with your student about an early pickup need, a previous absence, a tardy, or vacation. If your student is leaving early, we can prepare them with a pass to be in the office five minutes before your arrival after they leave class without an interruption.

JOSTENS YEARBOOKS & 8TH GRADE GRAD ADS

Let’s not forget to order those yearbooks for your student. They are only $37 (this could increase in the new year). You can also place 8th grade grad ads at the same time as placing your yearbook order. There are only so many pages allotted for Grad Ads so get those orders in before space runs out. Simply log onto www.Jostensyearbook.com and follow the prompts.

CHAMBER CHOIR PERFORMANCE FOR VETERANS DAY

Our Chamber Choir, led by Mrs. Goodwin, performed on the WJJMS Main Street for our Veterans Day celebratory week. This year a ceremony via Google Slides and Flip Grid was developed by our Technology Teacher, Mrs. Cauffman, for all of our students and families to watch. Students were invited to submit a Flip Grid video to be included in the presentation. We honor family members with a garland of stars submitted by students that is displayed so everyone entering WJ will be greeted by our students' gratitude.
