  • PROMOTION CEREMONY - CHANGE IN LOCATION

In order to reduce the potential transmission of Covid, we will be holding our Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony exercises outside here at WJJMS. The Promotion Ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard and soccer field, behind our school, on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Please bring your own folding chairs. We ask that students arrive by 5:45 p.m. As a suggestion, appropriate attire for the evening would be slacks and a tie (jackets are optional) or a simple sun dress or skirt with a blouse. Since we are holding the ceremony outside, tickets will not be needed to attend. However, please keep in mind that parking is limited at WJJMS. Please feel free to park in the bus lanes in front of the school entrance, as well as using CES’ back parking lot or JJIS’ parking lot.

In the event of inclement weather we will hold a drive through ceremony in the WJJMS parking lot (similar to what we have done the last 2 years) on the same day, 6/16, at the same time, 6:00 PM. If there is inclement weather, we will make the decision earlier in the afternoon and announce it via email.

Our wonderful PTO will have an area set-up for families to use to take photos after the ceremony.

  • WJ CHROMEBOOK INFORMATION:

8th Grade Chromebook Collection - WJ will be collecting 8th grade Chromebooks on Thursday, June 16th. Please remind your child to bring in their Chromebook and charger. The students will keep the Chromebook cases this year to use at Bacon next year.
