  • WJ CHROMEBOOK INFORMATION:

8th Grade: 8th Grade students return Chromebooks and Chargers to WJ. If your child did not yet return the device and charger, please send them in with it on 6/20 or return it to the WJ office as soon as possible.

Cases: 8th Graders keep their Chromebook cases to use at Bacon Academy. Please make a note of where your child puts this case as they will need it for high school. 

6th and 7th Grade Chromebooks: Current 6th and 7th grade students will keep their issued Chromebooks over the summer. IT will disable the devices after the last day of school and enable the devices the week before school.  In August we will send out information sharing the date Chromebooks will be enabled as well as sign in information. 

WJJMS Library Books: All library books are due back to WJ. If you find one lying around your home this summer, feel free to drop it off in the return bin in the lobby or send it in with your child in the fall. 

  • WJJMS SUMMER READING:

  • SUMMER MUSIC INFORMATION:

Band students and parents - summer is the perfect time to put extra effort into a musical instrument! Read Mr. Morrissette’s letter with camp information, private music lesson information and visit the Coast Guard Band website.

  • EMPTY BOWLS AND ARTS NIGHT:

Empty Bowls and Arts night will be Friday November 4. Please see the attached information.

  • PERSPECTIVE DETECTIVES: Join a small group of middle school-aged kids aimed at building skills to successfully navigate peer interactions in a safe environment. We meet on Thursdays beginning 7/7.  Click here for more information.

  • THRIVE: is a weekly, co-ed group for middle school students who wish to have additional support to help themselves THRIVE through life’s daily activities.  This group meets on Tuesdays via Telehealth at 4:30 PM. Check out here for more information

  • COLCHESTER SOCCER CLUB:

Attention Students entering 9-12th grade this Fall!  Registration is open for our U19 Summer program starting 6/1.  Registration is open to all students entering 9-12th grade that reside in Colchester as of September 2022.  The program provides a competitive soccer experience for both girls and boys who will participate in separate training sessions and league games.  If you are looking to play some soccer and have fun, even if you don't plan on going out for a school team, this is a great opportunity.  Questions for the Boys’ team contact [email protected].   • BOBCAT BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP:

Coach Kupper has teamed up with CYB for another exciting basketball camp!

The Camp Director is Craig Kupper, Bacon Academy Head Boys Basketball coach and AAU coach. He will be assisted by current/former Bacon Academy and college players as instructors. The coaches' goals include developing players of all abilities and focusing on fundamentals while increasing the player’s desire to improve and foster their love of the game. Camp is open to boys, grades 4-8.
