THE COLCHESTER LIONS CLUB PEACE POSTER CLUB


Permission slips are in the office. Please see Mrs. Duckworth if you would like one. Permission slips are due by Monday, October 4th and the club will begin on Thursday, October 7th.  Please see Ms. Galucci with any questions. The first 10 members of the club will receive a Mel’s Downtown Creamery gift card! The District first place prize is $100.00, the District second place prize is $75.00, and the District third place prize is $50.00.

 

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP WEEK IS COMING


WJJMS is planning on having our whole school participate in lessons on digital citizenship during the national Digital Citizenship week, Oct 18-22! There will be activities and optional challenges. And in case you are wondering what Digital Citizenship means - it is a big umbrella over the digital life we lead. What our presence is online, how we interact online, and more~

GOVERNOR LAMONT SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER EXTENDING THE DURATION AND MAKING REVISIONS TO SEVERAL PREVIOUSLY ISSUED COVID-19 ORDERS


September 28, 2021 (HARTFORD, CT) Governor Ned Lamont today announced that as the Connecticut General Assembly has given final legislative approval to renew the COVID-19 civil preparedness and public health emergency declarations through February 15, 2022, he has signed an executive order – Executive Order No. 14 – authorizing nine previously issued executive orders to remain in effect through the duration of the renewed declarations, and revising and narrowing two previously issued executive orders.
