School Happenings & Upcoming Events

Puma Media is finalizing its crew for this school year!

If your student is interested in working on Puma News, reading morning announcements, designing graphics for our school monitors, and/or taking photos for our yearbook and special events, please have them sign up through our Puma Media form. We’re holding a training session in October and want to make sure they’re invited.

Do you work in a media-related field? We’d love to have you visit and share your experience, tips, and advice with our students as they create their own productions. Please email our technology teacher, Kelli Cauffman, kcauffman@colchesterct.org, for more information

Grade 8 Tour of Bacon Academy

It's hard to believe that it's time for our 8th graders to explore Bacon Academy! I feel like it was just yesterday that they were coming to us as brand new 6th graders! On Friday, October 16th, ALL 8th grade students will go on a tour of Bacon Academy. Students should take their normal morning buses to Bacon Academy on that day. Students that don't ride a bus should be dropped off at Bacon Academy at the regular time. Their teachers will meet them in the auditorium. Students will leave Bacon Academy by bus at 11:30, and return to WJJMS in time for lunch. Looking forward to a great day!
